The Columbia City Police Department advises you to AVOID US 30 at State Road 9 due to traffic congestion.
Road construction in the middle of the intersection, along with bridge construction between State Roads 9 and 205 will be causing significant traffic backups and other issues.
Intersection work is expected to be completed around 9:00 a.m., at which point construction crews will move causing lane restrictions west of Columbia City.
