On July 10th, at 0312 hours, Montclair Police Officers responded to 4424 San Jose Street, reference a fire. When Officers arrived, they discovered that several vehicles and a carport were fully engulfed with fire. The Montclair, Upland, and Ontario Fire Departments arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.
A witness reported an unknown Hispanic male adult subject wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, was seen running from the fire after it was started. This subject is a person of interest and the Montclair Police Department would like to contact the subject to find out his involvement with the fire.
The Montclair Police Department & Fire Arson Investigation team is investigating the cause of the fire.
