CHILD ABDUCTION REGIONAL EMERGENCY (C.A.R.E.) ALERT

Biological Parents Wanted for Child Abduction

    

 Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Central Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating 2-year-old Mariah Salguero who was taken by her biological parents. 

 

On Wednesday July 23, 2014, around 11:30 a.m. the maternal grandmother was granted temporary custody of Mariah Salguero in Superior Court.  The child’s parents then took the child out of the court room.  The father was last seen walking away with the child and several family members.

 

They may be heading to Arizona where they have family.  There is no vehicle description at this time.

 

Mariah Salguero is described as a 2-year-old female Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes.  She stands 2 feet tall and weighing approximately 25 pounds.

 

The father (identified as suspect Christopher Salguero) is described as a 25-year-old male Hispanic, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds.  

 

The mother (identified as suspect Rosa Chairez) is described as a female Hispanic with red hair and brown eyes.  She stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.  

 

 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mariah Salguero is asked to contact the LAPD Central Detectives at (213) 833-3750. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
