Advisory

Severe Weather Threat for Sunday Evening

Good Morning friends and family!! I trust all is having a wonderful Saturday morning!!! THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR ALL OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. A COLD FRONT
WILL MOVE IN FROM THE NORTHWEST AND SHOULD HELP CAUSE SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF WHICH MAY PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS. MODELS ARE STILL NOT IN AGREEMENT BUT WE FELL ITS SAFE TO CALL FOR ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS. AT THIS TIME THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A TORNADO THREAT. THE OTHER CONCERN WILL BE FLASH FLOODING. AS YOU ALL NO SOME OF OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES ARE HAVING A LITTLE DROUGHT SO ANY FAST MOVING THUNDERSTORM HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF DROPPING SEVERAL INCHES IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. BUT FOR RIGHT NOW, WE ARE STILL IN THE WAITING GAME FOR THE MODELS TO GET ON TRACK. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE SITUATION AND BRING YOU THE LATEST ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND NIXLE.
