Folsom Fire Department Personnel Assisting with Amador County Wildfire 
Folsom Fire Department personnel are assisting Cal Fire and other local fire departments in suppressing the "Sand" wildfire in Amador County near the town of Plymouth. Folsom Engine 336 and 337 are assigned to this fire. Additional firefighters from Folsom are assisting as part of the incident management team guiding firefighting efforts to control this fire. A total of ten Folsom Fire Department personnel are currently committed to this incident.
