Recently three Spindale Police Officers received recognition from the Region C criminal Justice Advisory Committee. Lieutenant Derek Papesh, Officer Joey Aviles and Sergeant Aaron Collins were warded Region C Citations for their actions when a Spindale resident suffered a cardiac arrest at his home. These Officers responded and gave medical support including CPR which sustained the life of the victim until advanced life support could be administered. We commend these Officers for their selfless acts on behalf of the victim.
