7/1/14- 100 Block of Jennings Rd –Burglary- The victim reports that someone entered his home but nothing of value had been taken. There were no witnesses to the crime.

7/2/14- 8000 Block of Winters Lane –Fraud- The victim reports a fraud after purchasing a gift card at Kroger. Her credit card was then used to make fraudulent purchases. The case is being handled by the department investigator.

07/9/14-9000 Block of Main St- Damaged Property- The victim reports damage to his deck by an unknown subject(s). There are no witnesses and no suspects.

07/10/14- 100 Block of Turquoise- Larceny - The victim reports that a recent acquaintance stole some of her prescription medicine from her home. The case is being handled by the responding officer.

07/10/14- 2000 Block of Seven Mile- Fraud- The victim reports receiving a phone call regarding a past due account. After further communication with the caller the victim became suspicious about some of the information and ended the phone call. The victim did however give the caller her debit card information. The victims immediately cancelled her card and contacted her bank with the information. The case is considered inactive.

07/13/14- 100 Block of East Shore Dr-Larceny- The victim reports that an unknown subject(s) stole a wooden carved bear that was on her porch. The victim stated that the carving was very heavy and it most likely took at least two people to take it.

The Northfield Township Police would like to remind all citizens to remember to report any and all suspicious circumstances. The assistance of observant citizens has led to several arrests on crimes that have occurred in Northfield. Please continue to be vigilant in your observations.
