During the early morning hours on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at approximately 1:00 am, a female adult was fatally run over by a vehicle on the 12000 Block of Hopland Street, in the City of Norwalk. This incident occurred after a large party in the area had ended and several individuals began physically fighting and breaking bottles in the street.
Suspect Vehicle: White Sedan, possibly a 2000 to 2010 Chevy Impala, with a broken rear window and likely to have additional minor collision damage.
Detectives have been working all investigative leads, and have identified persons of interest in this case. The vehicle involved may be in the Hawthorne or Inglewood areas. Due to the on-going investigation, additional information is not being released at this time.
