ATTENTION NIXLE CRIME SOLVERS!

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department needs your help.

On August, 1st, 2014, during the daytime hours, two individuals reportedly broke into and burglarized a residence in the 500 block of 9th Avenue North in the City of Wisconsin Rapids (WRPD Incident # 14-16968). Stolen were two laptop computers, a toolbox of ammunition, a 12 gauge Maverick Model 88 Pump Shotgun, and a Kel Tech .40 caliber Handgun.

On August 2nd, 2014, during the early morning hours, a search warrant was written, signed, and executed in the 400 block of 9th Avenue North in the City of Wisconsin Rapids, as a direct result of the WRPD Burglary investigation. Recovered from the search warrant was the stolen toolbox of ammunition, but the two firearms and two computers were not at the residence.

The WRPD is looking to locate and interview two people who may have information about the Burglary. One is 23-year old Lloyd Anthony Cobb (pictured), who has an Outstanding Arrest Warrant from the Department of Corrections.

The other is a juvenile so we can’t release his name, and who has an Outstanding Capias (juvenile version of an Arrest Warrant).

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department needs the help of our public as we are attempting to locate and recover the two computers and especially the two firearms.
