**Important Information to Pass Along**
Please know that in the evening hours of Sunday August 03, 2014 two juvenile males reported that they were approached by a white male possibly in his thirties, wearing eye glasses and driving a gray 4-door sedan type vehicle. This allegedly occurred in the area of Greenbrier Ridge and Old Des Peres Road. The male reportedly identified himself as an “undercover” police officer and told the boys that he had candy for them if they were to get inside his vehicle. The boys did the right thing and ran from the area, while the male drove in a northerly direction toward Dougherty Ferry.
Although this was the only report we had received it is a good reminder to please speak to your children regarding stranger danger.
