On Wednesday, 08-06-14, at approximately 08:50AM, an AEPD unit responded to a hit & run accident at the intersection of Covington Road and Lakeshore Drive.
Upon arrival, it was determined the incident was a 3-vehicle accident and that one of the drivers had fled the scene. The vehicle which left the scene was described as a red colored, pickup truck (possibly a Dodge) headed south on Lakeshore Drive (wrong way on a one-way) at a high rate of speed past the elementary school.
