Army releasing personnel, posting closures
Army officials are taking multiple steps to prepare for Hurricanes Iselle and Julio and to safeguard personnel and facilities on Army installations in Hawaii.
Civilian employees will be released at 4 p.m., today, and should not report to work Friday unless they are designated "mission-essential." Additionally, civilian employees should not report to work Monday until 9 a.m. Employees who are unsure of their status or have further questions should contact their immediate supervisor.
Active duty Soldiers should check with their commanders regarding reporting hours.
A full list of facility and service closures is being posted in USAG-HI’s “On-Post Alerts.” Visit www.garrison.hawaii.army.mil or www.hawaiiarmyweekly.com, and click on the link on the right side of the screen titled “On-Post Alerts,” which has a photo of a red emergency light.
