Mr. Kelati was located by searching family members this morning in La Habra. He is safe and glad to be re-united with his family after wandering the streets lost for over 24 hours.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s, Norwalk Station, is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Yohannes Kelati, 65 year-old male Black who was last seen at a residence located on the 14300 block of Coolbank Drive, La Mirada, on Saturday August 9th, 2014 at approximately 8:00 a.m.
Mr. Kelati is described as 5’ 06”, 120 lbs, with gray hair. He recently arrived to the U.S. two weeks ago. He does not speak English, and has never been to the United States. Mr. Kelati is not familiar with the area, and he becomes easily confused. Mr. Kelati’s primary language is Tigrinya and he speaks some Amharic. He was last seen wearing a gray athletic gym suit.
Mr. Kelati’s family is very concerned and is asking for the public’s assistance.
