Storms Moving Through Our Area Today and Overnight

The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting severe thunderstorms for our area, beginning this afternoon and into the overnight hours. Various watches and warnings may be issued, once severe weather begins.

The primary threats are localized heavy rain, lightning and windy conditions. Two inches or more of rain are possible in some areas, where other areas will receive little rainfall. This can cause flooding in low lying areas and roadways.
