High Surf Advisory this weekend! 
As a result of swell from Tropical Storm Lowell (currently located about 900 miles southwest of the Palos Verdes Peninsula), the National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory from 9:00 AM on Friday, August 22nd through 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 24th. South-facing beaches--such as Abalone Cove and Sacred Cove--will be most affected. Please exercise caution if you enter the water this weekend. We want everyone to enjoy our beautiful local beaches safely!
