The annual Alexandria Fair parade will take place on Wednesday August 27th starting at 6:45pm.

All floats, special vehicles, prize entries; etc., will enter the south lot of the middle school for staging. All drop off riders and participants shall enter the north lot of the middle school only and walk across the campus to the south lot for staging.

Washington street will close at 6pm sharp – no one will be allowed access to Washington Street after 6. All other surrounding streets along the parade route will close at 6:45pm.

All pedestrian traffic needing to cross US-27 to reach the middle school shall do so at US-27 & Washington Street only where officers will assist them.
