The back to school season has begun. The “first day of the school” begins at several of the area schools next week, and some schools are already in session. Plan accordingly for extra traffic around schools. Motorists, bicyclist, and pedestrians need to be patient and cautious, especially in school zones. Watch speeds, be aware of pedestrian traffic, and refrain from using cell phones or electronic devices while operating a vehicle.
