Woodway SWAT assists McGregor PD in Search Warrant 
On August 28th, 2014, at approximately 10:50 am, Officers from McGregor Police Dept, Woodway SWAT, Coryell County Sheriff’s Dept, and Constable Stan Hickey executed a search warrant at 1723 Ramada in Waco/ Hewitt area. DAWN NELSON and LEE D. WARNEKE were subsequently arrested after officers located approx 8 grams of methamphetamine, scales, marijuana, packaging material, and approx 40 opiate based prescription pills. A small amount of currency was also seized. Both NELSON and WARNEKE were placed in the McLennan Co Jail charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, over 4 grams under 200 grams. At the time of WARNEKE’S arrest, WARNEKE was out on a bond after being indicted in May of 2014 for Possession of Methamphetamine and Felon Theft.
