NH Primary election to be held Tuesday 09/09 at Camp Morgan Lodge from 8am - 7pm. ID required, on site reg allowed.
Reminder to all Washington Residents-
The polls for the primary voting on September 9 will be open at Camp Morgan Lodge from 8 am- 7 pm. Moderator Barbara Gaskell welcomes members of the public to watch the vote counting once the polls close.
Supervisor of Checklist Mary Krygeris has passed along the following information about voting-
1. People may register at the polls prior to voting. To register you will need a government ID (drivers license, passport, non-drivers ID, etc from any state or the federal government). You will also need to present proof of residency in the form of a utility bill, property tax statement, car registration, etc. to prove Washington residency.
2. Registered voters will need to present government issued ID to receive a ballot. Please understand that we know this is Washington and most of the Supervisors and ballot clerks know most of the voters, but the ID requirement is a State Law they are required to adhere to, so please understand their position and cooperate with the ID requirement.
The Town Clerk will have the results posted by e-newsletter and Nixle as soon as they are tabulated. Due to the number of requests for notifications, she cannot honor individual requests for results.
Any questions can be directed to the proper person at the polls Tuesday.
