Maricopa Fire Department Monitoring Weather

Maricopa, ARIZ. (September 8, 2014) As central Arizona is experiencing historic rainfall, The City of Maricopa Fire Department is monitoring the storm and it potential impacts on the City of Maricopa.

Working in conjunction with the Executive City staff, Public Works and the City of Maricopa Police Department, a team is in place and actively monitoring the weather areas that have potential impact on the City. In order to prepare for potential flooding and its associated hazards, Fire Department staff are proactively planning to mitigate the hazards and will communicate any emergency notification via Nixle, Facebook and Twitter.

Residents are strongly encouraged to sign up to receive emergency notification via Nixle.
