Lane Closures on Illinois 83 in Oakbrook Terrace 09/15/14 thru 09/17/14 
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that pavement repairs on southbound Illinois 83 between Illinois 38 and Illinois 56 in Oakbrook Terrace will occur, weather permitting on, Monday Sept. 15.
In order to perform this work safely, it is neccessary to close the eastbound Illinois 38 to southbound Illinois 83 ramp and the right lane of southbound Illinois 83. The closure will be in place from 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, until 7p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, or until the work is complete.
Motorist can expect delays. Drivers are urged to pay attention to flaggers and signs in work zones, obey posted speed limits and be alert for workers and equipment.
