Sheriff’s Office Investigators went to the residence located at 1000 Melvin Hill Road Tryon, NC investigating the growth of marijuana being grown at this location. When deputies arrived they began interacting with a John Picklesimer and another male juvenile.

After a search of the property, there were marijuana plants, methamphetamine precursors, and paraphernalia found on the property. John Picklesimer, 18 of 1000 Melvin Hill Road Tryon was charged with Felony Manufacture Marijuana, Felony Possession/Distribute of Methamphetamine Precursor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were charged with the same and are currently being held on a $25,000.00 each secured bond. They have a court appearance of September 17.
