The Platt Road Bridge will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 9-17-14 and Thursday, 9-18-14 while the contractor applies an epoxy overlay to the road surface. It is possible the closure could be extended through Friday if the contractor is also able to arrange for the approaches at either side of the bridge to be re-paved at this time. If he is unable to schedule the repaving of the approaches this week, the bridge will be re-opened sometime Thursday and then will have to be closed again for a day or two in the near future so the approaches can be repaved. We will provide updates as they are available, but at this juncture residents and businesses should plan for the bridge to be closed all day Wednesday, and most of the day on Thursday.
