Police Serve Narcotics Search Warrant
On September 18, 2014, Los Banos Police Officer Marcelino Cortez who is assigned to the Merced Multi-Agency Narcotics Task Force served a narcotic search warrant in the 1000 block of Laurelwood Drive in Los Banos.
Police seized crystal methamphetamine and a loaded firearm from the residence. Los Banos Police Detectives assisted in the search and found a red bag marked F.S.S. containing fire equipment at the residence. The property is believed to be stolen and Detectives are trying to identify the owner.

52-year-old male Donovan Robert Rayman was arrested and charged with transportation of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sales, and child endangerment. His wife 56-year-old Barbara Rayman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Donovan Rayman remains in custody at the Los Banos Police Department Jail Facility in lieu of $180,000.00 bail. Barbara Rayman is out of custody on bail.
A 26-year-old adult relative to the Rayman’s and her 5-year-old boy were contacted at the residence at the time police served the warrant. The 26-year-old female has not been arrested at this time.
