In an effort to help clear out unwanted drugs from medicine cabinets or disposing of them down the toilet, a drug disposal box, courtesy of a grant by CVS Caremark, has been installed in the lobby of EAPD in Village Hall. The unit, which is available 24/7 will accept all prescription medications, patches, ointments, over the counter drugs, and pet medications. The unit will not accept syringes, medical waste bags, aerosol cans, inhalants or liquids. Unwanted drugs & medications will be taken to Covanta Niagara for incineration.
