Community members:
On both September 22nd and 23rd, Chief Shadowens (as well as other local fire chiefs) attended meetings with the Incident Management Team of the King Fire Incident. Even though we are expecting red flag fire conditions over the next few days, there is no fire threat to the community of Northstar. Our biggest concern is regarding the poor air quality that will likely continue for the next several days.
