I have received multiple reports of a new scam involving phone calls from subjects claiming to be from Microsoft. The caller states there was an alert sent to them from your computer. The number the call is coming from is fake and the call is a scam. If you do have questions about your computer system, I would recommend contacting an IT professional or call a legitimate Microsoft Service number.

Also, I received a report from a Sanborn Road resident, stating that between the hours of 2:30 am and 3:30 am this morning, a dark colored pickup with a loud exhaust pulled up to his stone wall and appeared to be taking stones. He has had stones taken in the past. My officers are aware of this issue and will be watching for this activity. Please check your stone walls to be sure you haven't had items stolen.
