The Suffolk County Police Department would like to remind the public that ATVs are not allowed to be operated on public roadways in Suffolk County. In addition, ATVs are not permitted on public lands i.e., public parks, The Pine Barrens, public beaches. Operation on private land is only allowable with the permission of property owner.
