Traffic Delays today expected: Route 72 west at the Causeway Bridges

Today is the 'Walk the Causeway' event. Participants will be gathering at the Old Causeway restaurant on East Bay Avenue / Heron Street. Please expect traffic delays on East Bay Avenue and Route 72 west.
The right lane westbound on Route 72 will be closed to traffic from the Stateroom restaurant in Ship Bottom to Marsha Drive.
Pedestrians will be in the roadway and the Stafford Police will be on scene escorting vehicles over the bridge at a slow speed for safety.
There is a car show at the Ship Bottom boat ramp as well this morning so please plan for the delays, be patient and drive safely.
