TO CITIZENS WHO SUFFERED FLOOD DAMAGE:

Earlier calls made to Homeland Security & Emergency Management, the Ombudsman's Office, and United Way DID NOT register you for FEMA assistance.

To register for FEMA assistance, citizens MUST DO one of the following by November 24, 2014. to apply:

Call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362
Apply ONLINE at www.DisasterAssistance.gov
Hearing or Speech impaired applicants should call 1-800-462-7585
If you use 711 or VRS call 1-800-621-3362

Both numbers are operational 7 am - 9 pm (EST), seven days a week.
After you have registered, a FEMA representative will contact you to schedule a home inspection.
Citizens may qualify for a Small Business loan or up to $32,400 in financial assistance. Citizens may also be eligible for other forms of assistance.
