On September 29, 2014 at approximately 12:03 a.m., police officers from the Noblesville Police Department responded to the Speedway gas station, located at 3150 Conner Street (Noblesville), in reference to a report of a holdup alarm.

Officers arrived on the scene shortly after the call was dispatched. Upon arriving on the scene, officers spoke with the employee of the business who indicated that she had just been robbed at gunpoint. The employee stated that a subject came into the store and brandished a black handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The employee alleges that the subject took an undetermined amount of cash and two (2) cartons of cigarettes before leaving the store. The subject was last seen traveling southbound on foot.

Additional officers were called to the scene in order to establish a perimeter and attempt a police K-9 track. Officers from the Westfield Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the effort. Officers searched the area for approximately an hour and half before the search was eventually called off. The suspect was not located and remains at large. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect is identified as a white male, mid 20’s, approximately 6’0” tall, thin, red hair, and red facial hair. He was described as wearing a blue and white Indianapolis Colts jacket, blue jeans and tan boots.

The employee was not injured as a result of the incident.

Crime scene investigators were called to the scene to collect evidence and witness statements. This remains an ongoing investigation.
