On September 28, 2014, at approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), Pico Rivera Station, responded to “Chuck E. Cheese’s,” located at 6005 Rosemead Boulevard, Pico Rivera, regarding a “shots fired” call.

Preliminary investigation revealed numerous witnesses statements indicating that two male Hispanics, described between the ages of 18-30, were involved in a verbal altercation in front of “Chuck E. Cheese’s.”  One or possibly both of the males produced a handgun and shots were fired.  At least four of the 13 rounds struck the “Chuck E. Cheese’s” establishment.

The first suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored car and the other suspect fled in a dark-colored pick-up truck.

No one was injured during the shooting and the incident appears to be gang related.
