Seeking Public's Help - Homicide Investigation - 25000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, Moreno Valley.
On October 1, 2014, at 8:16 P.M., officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department responded to the 25000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, in the City of Moreno Valley, regarding a report of a possible intoxicated subject. A security guard assigned to the business noticed a Hispanic male adult, approximately 20 to 30 years old staggering down the sidewalk and collapse in front of a business. The security guard immediately called 911 to report the male. Moreno Valley Officers along with Cal-Fire and an American Medical Response ambulance arrived on scene within minutes and located an adult male lying on the sidewalk with a life threatening wound. Medical personnel began life saving measures and transported the male to Riverside County Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators from the Moreno Valley Police Department and the Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. This investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time. The name of the decedent is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
