PSA COMMUNITY ALERT: The Norwood Police Department will be joining the Park Ridge Police Department and 12 other local agencies in the Pink Hat Project. The Pink Hat project was started in 2012 by the Park Ridge Police Department's Lt. Nicholas Errico as a tribute to his wife, who is a breast cancer survivor. For the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) participating agencies will wear pink caps to raise awareness and to show support in the fight against cancer.

The public can join us in the fight and show their support by purchasing a Norwood Police pink supporter cap. Caps are available at the Norwood Police Department between the hours of 8-4 M-F. Caps can be purchased for $25 apiece in sizes small/medium and large/x-large. All, 100%, of the proceeds will go towards the fight against cancer.
