On November 19, 2013, the Department received a report of embezzlement from a local doctor’s office in the 200 block of H Street. Officials from the business discovered a medical billing employee had been embezzling company funds.
Business officials discovered an employee; 37-year-old Gabriella Ocegueda had embezzled more than $20,000.00 in a three year time span from 2010 and 2013.
“Regardless of a person’s financial situation, it is not right to take someone else’s money. For that reason, Ocegueda will be held accountable for her actions.”

Ocegueda was arrested and booked into the Los Banos Police Department Jail on charges of embezzlement and forgery. Ocegueda posted bail in the amount of $10,000.00.
