S.R. 257 Pavement Repairs Begin Monday South of Washington
WASHINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation will close State Road 257 between Washington and Otwell beginning Monday, Oct. 6 to perform pavement repairs. The work is anticipated to take two to three weeks to complete and the detour for heavy highway traffic follows U.S. 50, S.R. 57 and S.R. 356.
INDOT crews will perform a fine milling and seal coat operation to repair sporadic potholes and provide a smoother driving surface. Earlier this year, INDOT patched this area and began pulling up reflectors in preparation for this work.
