On October 2, 2014 at approximately 8:07 p.m., Officer Steven Odom was dispatched to the 500 block of Nickel Street regarding a robbery. The officer spoke with the 26-year-old male victim who was reportedly sitting in his vehicle when the robbery occurred.
The victim told police he was seated in his vehicle outside his home, when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and fled the area on foot.
The suspect described as a Hispanic male adult, mid 30’s, wearing a blue or black sweater was last seen fleeing the area east on Nickel Street. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect.
