COMMUNITY: Brief traffic interruptions on SR-60 (Pomona Freeway) due to Southern California Edison construction in Montebello scheduled for Sunday, October 12.
SCE project crews will be using a helicopter to install wire on electric transmission structures and to position equipment and personnel.
Traffic interruptions:
There will be periods of brief traffic interruptions during this work to ensure the safety of the public and project personnel:
Location:
-On the SR-60 (Pomona Freeway), east and west of Paramount Blvd
Each periodic traffic interruption may be five (5) to fifteen (15) minutes in duration.
A combination of traffic control signs, California Highway Patrol (CHP), and crew members with flags will be used during the entire wire installation process
Construction Schedule:
(Note: this schedule may change depending on weather and other factors)
Sunday, October 12 from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Construction work without traffic interruptions on the freeway will continue through 3 p.m.
