BASIC CAR 14A67: Senior Lead Officer John Richardson
PREVENTABLE CRIME TRENDS: Day time burglaries all watches. -Burglary From Motor Vehicles (BFMV), Theft From Motor Vehicles (TFMV's) & Grand Theft Auto (GTA's) between 2300-0600. Vandalism by "Poserz" gang members. Recent tagging in area. All hours.
MODUS OPERANDI: Suspects look for unlocked vehicles, open windows, unlocked gates etc. Lock windows and doors. Get alarm system.
ALERT METHODS UTILIZED: Passed out numerous crime alert flyers in affected area. -Alert community through several social media websites. (email trees etc.)
SAFETY TIPS: -Lock vehicle and do not leave valuables visible inside vehicles. Pay attention to your surrounding and alert police when you see suspicious activity. Participate in Neighborhood Watch Program.
