The Rock Hill Police Department has noticed a safety issue regarding objects and items thrown from the Oakland and Charlotte Avenue bridges periodically over the last few months onto cars driving on Dave Lyle Blvd, most often at night. We have had reports of rocks thrown at vehicles and a latest incident of traffic cones thrown/dropped from the bridge onto a vehicle driving with children in the car. The police department is looking for any information related to these sort of dangerous events, whether the individuals are juveniles or adults, who are involved in these crimes.
