WEDNESDAY MORNING OVER THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS AND EASTERN
TENNESSEE VALLEY...

.A STRONG STORM SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TONIGHT
WILL SPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS INTO SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE LATE
TONIGHT AND THEN SPREAD NORTHEAST DURING THE DAY TUESDAY AND
CONTINUE TUESDAY EVENING OVER NORTHEAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST
VIRGINIA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES AND ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF
UP TO 6 INCHES HAVE MADE THE GROUND SATURATED SO ADDITIONAL HEAVY
RAIN COULD CAUSE FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS...SMALL STREAMS AND
