With this new technology we plan to keep our residents and surrounding communities better informed about public safety through text message and email alerts. We will try to update you on local crime trends that may in turn help keep you and your property safe. We also will try to keep you abreast of large incidents as they are developing, such as Sheriff’s containments that interfere with traffic flow or present any potential danger. Bellflower Nixle also will be useful to alert you to City supported activities/events that are taking place. These can be really good opportunities to meet people with whom you share a neighborhood, and we truly believe that getting to know your neighbors can be one of the strongest defenses against residential crime and related problems.
