On October 9, 2014, at approximately 9:50 p.m., a female victim was walking to her residence in the vicinity of S SH 121 Business and Valley View Lane. While crossing the Timber Creek Bridge near the Quik Trip located at 1701 S SH 121 Business, the female victim was attacked by a Hispanic male and was dragged underneath the bridge. The female victim struggled with the Hispanic male as the female victim was dragged further away. The female victim yelled for assistance and when the Hispanic male overheard voices of a witness who was crossing the bridge, the Hispanic male fled the scene on foot. The witness had heard the female victim yelling for assistance and was able to flag down a passerby who assisted by dialing 911. The female victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries and was released. The only descriptors available are that the suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20‐30 years of age, with a muscular build.
There have been similar offenses in the area over the past 60 days. Lewisville Police Detectives believe that the Hispanic male suspect in this offense could possibly be linked to the two previous offenses. The female victim cooperated with detectives and assisted in completing a composite sketch of the Hispanic male suspect.
The Lewisville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the Hispanic male in the composite sketch. If you have any information, please contact the Lewisville Police Department Tip line at 972‐219‐8477 (TIPS). (Please note this number was corrected from the original press release)
