Announces a Multi-Agency Investigation and
Arrests For:

Felony Larceny, Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
and Misdemeanor Larceny

The Southern Pines Police Department announces the following arrests from a multi-agency investigation conducted by the Southern Pines Police Department, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, the Aberdeen Police Department and the Pinehurst Police Department. These arrests stem from a multi-agency investigation into twenty (20) utility trailer thefts in the southern Moore County area. As a result of this investigation, two suspects were arrested and four (4) stolen trailers were recovered. Three of the trailers were recovered from Conway, S.C. and one trailer was recovered in Tabor City, N.C. The following individuals have been arrested as a result of this multi-agency investigation.

William Junior Knight, 37 years of age of Cliff Gibson Road in Laurel Hill, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Twenty (20) counts Felony Larceny, Twenty (20) counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, and Twenty (20) counts of Misdemeanor Larceny. William Junior Knight appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and currently is incarcerated in the Moore County Detention Center under a $30,000.00 secured bond pending a hearing in Moore County District Court.

Herbert Junior Bullard, 36 years of age of Lauder St in Laurel Hill, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Twenty (20) counts Felony Larceny, Twenty (20) counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, and Twenty (20) counts of Misdemeanor Larceny. Herbert Junior Bullard appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and currently is incarcerated in the Moore County Detention Center under a $145,000.00 secured bond pending a hearing in Moore County District Court.
