UPDATE:  

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives responded to the 1100 block of South Sunflower Avenue, Glendora, where they are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult. 

Detectives have learned that on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at approximately 3:33 am, a citizen called Glendora Police Department and reported a body lying on the street.  Glendora police responded to the location and found an adult, male, Hispanic deceased from apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso. 

The exact cause of death is unknown and will be determined by the Los Angeles Department of Coroner.

There is no additional information at this time.

The investigation is active and ongoing.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the Foothill (210) Freeway, Sunflower Avenue off-ramp, Glendora, to assist Glendora Police Department personnel  investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
