FRAUD Alert, Ongoing in Ripon 
Male subject with a phone number of 866-915-2401 calls local resident and claims they are past due with Alliant Energy bills and they will shut off utilities unless payment made immediately, with cash transfer or credit card to special account. Alliant Energy does not do business in this fashion and claims this is a Fraud that has been ongoing nationwide and is now operating in the Ripon Area.
Do not provide money fund transfers or credit card information to a caller such as this. Fraudulent activity - Do not provide personal information or make payment.
