----Pacific Preventable Burglary Alert---- 
Last week, from 10/19 - 10/25 in Pacific Area there were 24 Burglaries reported.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Out of the burglaries: * 10 were Residential Homes, 2 Business, 7 Apartments, 1 Storage & 1 Garage.
POINT OF ENTRY
It is important to note that the point of entry for 11 of the burglaries were:
6 - UNLOCKED DOORS
5 - UNLOCKED WINDOWS
Two of the business had videos surveillance cameras. One of the videos surveillance systems were on, the other one was not turned on.
TRACKING DEVICES
Out of 3 Apple Computer products taken, none of them had the free "Find My iPhone" tracking app installed on the products The "Find My iPhone" app assist Police Officers in recovering stolen Apple Phones, Computers and Tablets.
The free "Look Out" app also helps Police Officers to recover stolen Android products.
These preventable crime alerts are only meant to inform you the community of methods that criminals are using to gain leverage over your property and what you can do to remain safe.
Remember - NO VICTIM is ever at fault. We are only communicating these facts so that we can encourage each person in the community to take precautions.
