Avoid westbound I-96 near Sternberg. Emergency units are on the scene of a car / pedestrian crash near that location. Preliminary reports indicate a deer was struck at that location. A motorist who stopped to move the deer out of the road was struck by another vehicle. The patient was transported from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital.
