The Nash County Courthouse will be open today on a regular schedule.

To all the citizens and visitors of the Nash County Courthouse, we believe yesterdays events to be an isolated event. We still believe that the Courthouse is a safe place to come and go, and we strive to ensure that you are safe when you are here. The events that occurred happened outside of the Courthouse on the sidewalks and would have been difficult to prevent at any location. The NCSO is confident that this event was not random and that the victims were the intended targets of the shooter.
