Midland Park Residents,

The MPPD will be enforcing a suggested curfew time of 9:30 pm for all juveniles on Thursday 10/30/14. We are asking that all parents advise their children to be home and off of the Boro streets by 9:30 pm. We are also asking that you talk to your children and help them understand the consequences of any act of vandalism.

Any juvenile caught in the act of vandalizing personal property will be transported to MPPD Hqtrs and processed accordingly. Any juvenile found walking the Boro streets after 9:30 pm and in the possession of any items commonly used to vandalize personal property will be asked to surrender those items and return home. (shaving cream, toilet paper, eggs, spray paint, etc...)

The MPPD will be enforcing the motor vehicle laws (GDL) for all new drivers. As a reminder, all new drivers have restrictions on the number of passengers and hours of operation of a motor vehicle.

We simply ask that you use good common sense when allowing your children to go out on 10/30/14. Limit your children's "mischievous acts" to your own property. We would rather see toilet paper hanging from your trees than from the utility lines, which ultimately create visibility issues for vehicles and pedestrians. Do not let them leave your house dressed in dark clothing and instruct them to use sidewalks where possible. STAY OUT OF THE STREET.

Speak to your children, monitor their actions, know there intentions before letting them go out.
